HOSPITALITY ZONE

With the various attractions at the Complex for all age groups, NMHC will soon be a self-sufficient tourist destination with comprehensive 2 or 3 day itinerary for tourists. To cater to the hospitality needs of the Complex; two Museum themed hotels of around 100 rooms each have been planned in the hospitality zone. The hospitality zone shall also consist of an Eco Resort.

MUSEOTELS

In addition to rooms, Cafés, Restaurants, Business Centre and Banquets will also be developed in order to create a destination for tourists and business users alike.

The Hotel facility will be inspired by the context of the location and developed to further celebrate the Maritime Heritage of the country and be based on the Museum.

Farm to Table Cafes.

To host workshops for sustainable practices of living.

Water harvesting models.

Congregational areas promoting nature activities and awareness.

MARITIME THEMED ECO RESORT

Maritime inspired Eco Cottages shall be part of the Hospitality Zone and will offer a unique stay option to sustainability enthusiasts.

The Eco-Resort allows the visitor to understand the minimization of ones impact on nature and culture. Its focus is to educate people about the importance of conservation by promoting responsible business practices.

Around 100 independent cottages for single family accommodation along with restaurants and cafes, themed on Indian ship building, will provide an inimitable experience for the visitors and make NMHC an independent tourist destination.

Maritime inspired cottages shall be designed to have community spaces for gatherings, bonfires, events, etc.
